Comments: One award to support an entrepreneurial master's or doctoral student who wants to implement his/her vision for a more sustainable world. In addition to a monetary stipend, the top five Fellowship finalists will be given an opportunity to interview for a compensated internship position at one of ERM?s global offices (e.g., Annapolis, MD; Houston, TX; London, UK;or Sydney, AU).Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher and be enrolled in a U.S. based tax-exempt educational institution.Stipend of up to $15,000, which can be used for tuition, daily living expenses, room and board, travel, materials, and other resources required for the proposed service, product, project or program.
Deadline: 12/15/2012 -deadline to turn in eligibility information. All other application material must be postmarked by 1/31/2013.

Comments: Grants for women, from all countries, to pursue full-time graduate studies in the United States and Canada. Scholars must plan to return to their countries on completion of their degree program.Must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working toward a graduate degree in the college or university she will attend. Recipients must have additional financial support to cover all expenses.Maximum stipend of $10,000 per year.

Comments: One fellowship is awarded annually to increase the presence of minority scholars and teachers in musicology. The fellowship will support one year of graduate work for an underrepresented student in musicology at a North American University.Must have completed at least one year of graduate work, intend to pursue a Ph.D., and in good standing at the home institution. The Fellowship is not restricted to dissertation work. Awards are based on merit only, and there are no restrictions regarding research area, age, or sex.Stipend of $20,000 for 12 months.

Comments: Several grants offered to UC faculty and graduate students to support collaborative research projects related to Pacific Rim Studies. Can be renewed for an additional year of support. Graduate student proposals will be considered in direct competition with those from faculty.Graduate students must obtain faculty members to serve as principle investigators of record.Stipend of up to $20,000.

Comments: Approximately 60 awards for women who are preparing to reenter the work force, change careers, or advance their current careers. Funds are provided for tuition, fees, books, transportation, and dependent care.Must be in the early stages of a master's degree program. Open only to women who have not received academic degrees in the last 4 1/2 years. Special consideration given to women of color.Stipend of $2,000 to $12,000.

Comments: Six two-year research fellowships for advanced graduate students to pursue doctoral research in art history and archeology in Turkey. Research for a shorter period of time is also possible. Candidates must be nominated by their academic department. Each university is limited to two nominees per academic department. The nominees must be applying for different research centers. Applicants must have fulfilled all preliminary requirements for the doctorate except the dissertation by June and before beginning any ARIT-sponsored research. 25,000 as fellowship stipend and 5,000 goes toward the host institution's administrative costs

Comments: The American Statistical Association administers the ASA/NSF Research Fellowship Programs, with support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and four federal statistical agencies: the US Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The General objective of the program is to foster collaborative and interdisciplinary activities that will stimulate the development of methodology and analytic research relevant to the sponsoring Federal agencies. The duration of the fellowships are usually between 4 to 12 months depending on the center. Please consult the program for possible renewals to appointments.

Comments: The program aims to attract talented students in the world to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong institutions. About 135 awards for 2013/2014.
