Comments: The Behavioral Sciences Student Fellowship stimulates individuals to pursue careers in epilepsy in either research or practice settings. Appropriate fields include sociology, social work, psychology, anthropology, nursing, economics, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, political science, and others relevant to epilepsy research or practice. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible. ($3,000 stipend)

Comments: The CLAS Field Research Grant supports master's, doctoral, and professional school students conducting preliminary fieldwork in Latin America or Iberia, providing them with the opportunity to establish professional and institutional contacts, assess research sites, and refine their projects. Award recipients are selected from among all divisions and professional schools of the University of Chicago. Applicants must be graduate students from any academic department or professional school at the University of Chicago.Financial support may be used towards international airfare and in-country transportation and living expenses. Travel must be completed by December 1, 2011.
