Ford Foundation Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowships

Length: 9-12 months

Comments: Applicants are to have earned a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree within the last seven years, but no later than November of application year. Previous Ford Postdoctoral Scholars may not reapply. Membership in one or more of
the following under-represented groups will be considered a positive factor: Alaska Natives (Eskimo or Aleut), American Indians, Black/African-Americans, Mexican Americans/Chicanos, Native American Indians, Native Pacific Islanders (Polynesian/Micronesian), or Puerto Ricans. Stipends of $40,000 plus $1,500 employing institutional allowance. Twenty-four postdoctoral fellowships for students who have attained a Ph.D or Sc.D degree. Fellows engage in 9 to 12 months of research, in association with a faculty host, at a university, lab, or non-profit institute.
