In addition to a monetary stipend, the top five Fellowship finalists will be given an opportunity to interview for a compensated internship position at one of ERM?s global offices (e.g., Annapolis, MD; Houston, TX; London, UK;or Sydney, AU).Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher and be enrolled in a U.S. based tax-exempt educational institution.Stipend of up to $15,000, which can be used for tuition, daily living expenses, room and board, travel, materials, and other resources required for the proposed service, product, project or program.

Comments: Grants for women, from all countries, to pursue full-time graduate studies in the United States and Canada. Scholars must plan to return to their countries on completion of their degree program.Must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working toward a graduate degree in the college or university she will attend. Recipients must have additional financial support to cover all expenses.Maximum stipend of $10,000 per year.

Comments: Short-term (up to 3 months) and long-term (up to 6 months) residential research fellowships will be awarded to applicants whose research focuses on the life, leadership and legacy of George Washington and his place in the development of American civic life and culture. Applications will also be evaluated on their relevance to the Mount Vernon Ladies? Association?s mission, which is to preserve, restore and manage the estate of George Washington and to educate visitors and people throughout the world about his life, legacies, character and leadership.Both types of fellowships include housing at the DeVos House and round trip airfare or mileage reimbursement for one trip to and from the scholar's residence.Short-term fellowships of up to $10,000; long-term fellowships of up to $20,000.

Comments: The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships are opportunities for professional development and public service. They are operated by AAAS as part of its mandate to "advance science and serve society." Comments: The Eurasia Program offers fellowship support that provides financial and academic support to graduate students in the early stages of dissertation development, and Ph.D. candidates near completion of their doctoral programs in social sciences and related humanities.  Pre-Dissertation Awards (PDAs) enable early stage graduate students to perform initial field assessments of up to 4 weeks for archival exploration, preliminary interviews, and other forms of feasibility studies.  Proposals should reflect a clear plan, require a budget of less than $3,000, and clearly articulate the policy relevance of the proposed subject. Dissertation Development Awards (DDAs) are intended to provide one year of support to enable the prompt completion of a PhD dissertation.  The competition is open to advanced graduate students who have completed their fieldwork. Stipend up to $20,000.  All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States as of December 1, 2012.

The Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) and the Smithsonian Institution invite applications for one-year fellowships to support research in residence at Smithsonian Institution facilities. ABD (by start of fellowship) doctoral candidates in all fields of study that are actively pursued by the museums and research organizations of the Smithsonian Institution are eligible. The stipend is $30,000 for one year, and fellows are eligible for tuition and health insurance benefits in accordance with University policy. Fellows are eligible to receive allowances for related expenses and for temporary relocation to the Smithsonian.
 
The publication Smithsonian Opportunities for Research and Study outlines Smithsonian research activities and lists research staff. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact staff members to help identify potential advisors, determine the feasibility of the proposed research being conducted at the Smithsonian Institution, and the availability of relevant resources such as staff, collections, archives and library materials during the proposed tenure dates.
