Comments: 8 fellowships to American postdoctoral researchers in support of work to be carried out at Israeli Universities. Program fellows must be accepted as postdoctoral researchers by Israeli host institutions. Preference will be given to candidates who have received doctorates within the last 3 years or who are about to receive their doctorate. Stipend of $20,000 per academic year, $40,000 in total, plus a grant from the host institution. The US Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program is open to candidates in all academic disciplines. Open to only U.S. citizens.

Deadline: 7/8/13-statement of intent to apply due. 8/5/13-full application due. 

Comments: Awards offered to doctoral students to investigate the application of quality principles and quality thinking of applicants' chosen field. Fellows will be given the chance to share their key findings of your dissertation with the ASQ community of more than 85,000 quality experts worldwide and to publish their findings in ASQ's flagship publications.At least nine months must be remaining in residence at the student's university from the due date of application.

Deadline: July 15, 2013 

Comments: Grants available for the exploratory phase of a research project concerned with human origins, behavior, or survival. Must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in anthropology or a related discipline or be enrolled in a doctoral program with all degree requirements fulfilled other than the dissertation. Grants to doctoral students are in the $3,000-$13,500 range and post-doctoral student may be funded up to $22,000.

Deadline: 7/12/13 for fall. 2/6/13 for summer 

Length: 10 weeks

Comments: Four internship sessions lasting 10-weeks are available throughout the year for students interested in gaining museum practice and program development experience.Must be currently enrolled in a university program or have completed the program no more than six months before application deadline. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent is generally expected.Travel, housing, and stipends may be provided to students on a limited basis. Students receiving stipends must work full time (forty hours per week).

Comments: Up to 10 fellowships awarded annually to qualified scholars to conduct research in the John W. Kluge Center using the Library's collections and resources for a period up to eleven months.Scholars who have received a terminal advanced degree within the past seven years in the humanities, social sciences or in a professional field such as architecture or law are eligible. Exceptions may be made for individuals without continuous academic careers. To meet the minimum eligibility requirements, the degree must be formally awarded by the deadline date.A stipend of $4,200 per month.

Length: 4-11 months  

Comments: Two different programs to support research in India. Junior Research fellowships are available for 6 to 11 months and fellows must have an Indian research supervisor. Senior Research fellowships are available for up to 4 months or 6 to 9 months and fellows must be formally affiliated with an Indian institution. Competitive stipends and benefits are offered to all fellows.
